What is a casting ?
A casting is a metal product made by pouring liquid metal into a sand mold.The melting point for the metal is around 1500°C, and the shaping of the mold requires advanced technique and experience. KAWAGUCHI i-mono is a brand for cast pans.

There is rust
Remove the rust with a soft sponge, etc. Wash the pan with warm water and dry it thoroughly. Apply some cooking oil on the rusted surface and allow the oil to be absorbed into the pan.

The pan is scorched
Wash off the scorched parts well. Do not use steel scourers, knives or metallic spatulas.
Cast pans hate humidity. Please store it in a dry place.
